The purpose of the Community involvement committee is provide the members of PWC with quarterly opportunities to give back to the community as well as raise community awareness of PWC. Our activities include:
1) active service (fellowship),
2) passive service (donation of items),
3) Donation of time/services.
We do a number of varied and fun events and activities through the year, serving a wide population in the city. Our projects largely benefit females and our intention is to make a difference while bringing PWC members together in fun and service.

Gateway Community Services provides a room and board outpatient recovery program that addresses the specific needs of pregnant women with children recovering from addition disorders; whom are trying to take control of their lives to provide a better future for their children.
Delivery Date: August 24, 2010
Collection Dates: PWC July 14, 28 and Aug 11
Collection Sites: PWC Meetings, Florida Bank, Spectrum Signs
Sorting and Bagging Party: August 19, 2010, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Florida Bank
Volunteers are needed to collect, deliver and attend sort and bag party.

* Available at most Walgreens Stores. Cash donations will be accepted by Tanya to pool funds and purchase in bulk.
