The GIRLS GOING PLACES Entrepreneurship Conference! We need women business owners to volunteer as mentors!!!
This is a one-day conference designed to encourage teenage girls to take control of their financial future at an early age by broadening their understanding of the business world, starting businesses, managing personal finances and highlighting the advantages of financial independence. The Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Conferences are held around the nation and was first brought to Jacksonville in 2005 as part of the NFL-sanctioned community events held during Super Bowl XXXIX Week in conjunction with the Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida (SBDC at UNF) and Guardian Life Insurance. The 5th Annual Girls Going Places® Teen Entrepreneurship Conference will be held on April 15, 2010 from 7:30 am-2:00 pm at the UNF University Center.
