Calibrate CPAs

Amy Malerba, Chief Operating Officer, CALIBRATE CPAs

Amy Malerba comes to Calibrate with more than 10 years of experience in the financial services and banking industries. A graduate of the University of Florida, School of Banking, Amy became a Branch Manager and Vice President for a leading Jacksonville bank in 2001. In the first two years of her leadership, the bank achieved $35 million in production growth and became one of the largest producing branches in Northeast Florida.

A strong believer in the power of relationships, Amy has built her business acumen by, above all else, cultivating strong personal ties with her peers and colleagues. This philosophy extends to Amy’s personal and civic life, as well. Amy enjoys nothing more than spending time with those close to her, including her husband, Mario, her dog, Rudy, and a wide network of friends across the country. In addition, she contributes much of her free time and energy working in the non-profit field of catastrophic illnesses.

Amy is a past President of her BNI Chapter and past Vice President of the Professional Women’s Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce.  She also serves as a volunteer for several other networking and non-profit organizations.

A long time resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Amy is an avid swimmer and an Italian-speaking world traveler. Several items on Amy’s current Bucket List include attending a U2 concert, traveling to Vegas and – whether with one small gesture or through a major initiative – to bring positive change to someone’s life. Amy believes that, while everything happens for a reason, we are ultimately in control of our own destiny. With that belief as her foundation, Amy is always anxious to embark on whatever adventure life brings next!
