Chere G. Cain was born in Decatur Alabama but considered the Orlando area her home since 1969.
She graduated from Forest Lake Academy in Forest City and attended the Central Florida School of Massage in 1999.
Chere has a private practice, consisting of pre/postnatal massage. She also practices deep tissue massage, Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy, and, more recently, Ashiatsu bar therapy - performed with her feet.
She served two terms as Fist Vice President of the Central FL. Chapter of the Florida State Massage therapy Association, and three years as an Ambassador of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
She moved to the Jacksonville area in April of 2006 and has established her practice in the Jacksonville Beach area. She has served as Chairperson for the Membership task force for the Beaches Division of the Jacksonville chamber. She is also an Ambassador of the Ponte Vedra Chamber and is a member of the Jacksonville Beach Woman’s Club.
She served one term as the First VP of the First Coast Chapter of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and is currently serving as their school liaison and Membership Chairperson.
In June of 2008 she opened a new business with Heather Hixon, Helen May and Dena Freeman known as the Renaissance Healing Center. They were joined in November by Joy Essler an Acupuncture physician and Yoga instructor. They are located in Jacksonville Beach right behind the Rita’s Italian Ice.
Most recently she has become and executive in Nu skin International. Nu skin is a 25 year old 1.3 billion dollar company that offers products from nutritional supplements to skin care and even a nutritional food meal engineered to efficiently feed starving children worldwide. Chere’s goal is to work herself into a fulltime position in Nu skin by Aug. 2010.
